This support may derive from several sources, including Graduate Research Assistantships, University Fellowships, Graduate Traineeships, and individual Investigator Research Grants. The various forms of financial support are limited in number and are awarded on a competitive basis.
An annual stipend and fringe benefits package is awarded to all qualified Ph.D. graduate students enrolled at Wayne State University School of Medicine. In addition to the standard stipend amount, applicants with exceptional academic and experiential backgrounds may be eligible for a number of enhancements to the base stipend ranging from $2,000 $5,000. Contact the program director of your desired program for additional details.
